Lady Cat Drills & Skills Volleyball Camp
Camp is designed for those students that are
going into 4th-7th grades.
Campers should show up in athletic attire including
shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes.
Purpose: To introduce and teach the fundamental
volleyball skills and explain habits
that create a great volleyball player.
Instructors will include the Lady Cat Volleyball
Staff along with current and former Lady
Each Camper will receive a T-Shirt and a volleyball

Future Wampus Camp Football Camp
The camp is for students entering the 1st—7th grades. Camp will be held Tuesday, May 30th and Wednesday, May 31st from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30, at the Wampus Cat Indoor Practice Facility. The camp will be run by the Wampus Cat Football staff,
players and former players.
Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt and instruc-tion in all phases of football. Join the Wampus Cats for (2) days of fundamentals in football.

A comprehensive education program that introduces safety awareness through classroom, role-playing, and hands-on activities. Children will learn about fire, traffic, home, train, car, bus, playground, and personal safety. Safety Town also includes a miniature town with streets, stoplights, crosswalks, and stores. Each child will have a chance to drive a Schwinn Roadster in Safety Town to practice proper street safety rules.
Your child will receive a nutritious snack, lunch and a drink every day. Books, songs, posters, videos, art projects, and guest speakers will enable the children to enjoy and understand what they are learning. On the last day, we will have a graduation ceremony for parents to see what their child has learned in this great experience. Each child will go home with a new bicycle safety helmet. This is the 21st year of Safety Town in Conway.
When: Aug. 1-3, 9 am to 12:30 pm.

UCA FIT CLUB
UCA Cub Fit Camp invites rising 4th and 5th graders to campus for a dynamic daily schedule of activities related to health and wellness.
- Learn about Arkansas agriculture at the mobile farm
- Chill out with yoga and meditation workshops
- Learn how fruits and vegetables can keep you from getting sick
- Splash around in the HPER Center pool
- And much more!
Family members are also invited to see the campers present what
they have learned on the final afternoon of camp.

Cheer Force Arkansas is offering a free cheer and tumbling clinic for boys and girls on April 21 and 22 (times vary by grade).

Master Gardener Plant Sale
The Master Gardener Club is having a plant sale on May 13th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Conway Expo Center. Admission to the event is free and they will be having live demonstrations, tool sharpening and garden art while also offering a wide variety of plants for sale. Click HERE for more information.
CAPCA Stamp Out Hunger
As you may know, April is National Card and Letter Writing Month. For years CAPCA has partnered with the U.S. Post Office and the National Association of Letter Carriers to show children the delight of writing and sending a message to friends and family while helping spread the word about the annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

KIDS RUN ARKANSAS
Kids Run Arkansas® began with the goal of increasing physical activity in children and youth and to foster awareness of health and wellness. The race has grown steadily from more than 200 kids the first year to nearly 400 last year.
Kids Run Arkansas® will be held Friday, April 21, at 6 p.m. at Laurel Park – located on Prince Street. Participants may choose the 1-mile or 3-mile route and families are encouraged to participate. Registration is now open and the cost is $10 per child. Children registering for the race by April 4 will receive an official Kids Run Arkansas® shirt. The registration also includes an a finisher’s medal and goody bag. Family registration is also available; any four family members can register for $35.
The UCA Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders invites children who stutter to participate in the Summer Fluency Program. The summer program is designed to provide speech services to school-aged children who stutter. It is specifically geared toward children who need to manage their stuttering and enhance fluency in both learning and recreational activities.
